This year we’re facing a couple of logistical challenges. A large portion of the BERNEXPO grounds is under construction, and in addition the circus is right next door again. Since we’re aware that Check In was not so smooth in 2022, this year a new system will be in place. Please make sure to follow these instructions so that everyone can have a great start into SwitzerLAN 2023. 

The following applies to everyone who arrives on Thursday:

By Car - Drive to the parking space P17 (Google Maps) 

• Wait in Line to check in

1. • Pay the 100.- cashless deposit (you’ll get it back) and receive your confirmation slip

2. • Wait for Securitas to send you to BERNEXPO and drive there

3. • Unload your car quickly. There is a 30 minute time limit from entering the unloading zone to exiting it

4. • Drive back to P17, get your 100.- back (if you’ve adhered to the time limit) and park your car there

5. • Walk back to BERNEXPO (10 minutes) and enjoy the LAN

By Public Transport - Take the public transport to «Wankdorf Center» or «Guisanplatz Expo» 

1. • Walk around the BERNEXPO hall to the ramp (Google Maps)

2. • Walk down the ramp to the basement

3. • Check in at the container and enter the LAN

5. If you arrive on Friday or Saturday you can just drive or walk to the SwitzerLAN entrance at the back of BERNEXPO and check in directly.

7. When you leave the LAN on Sunday you won't have to get a confirmation slip from P17. You simply fetch your car and load your stuff at the dropoff zone.
